Edward B. DeSeta, a Delaware Native, began his career as a young adult in his family HVAC business before becoming a local builder/developer in 1971. DeSeta began buying, developing, building, selling real estate and changing the skyline of Delaware. DeSeta in 2013 relocated to Charleston, SC to be close to two of his sons, one a graduate of the Citadel. DeSeta is celebrating 53 years in the Real Estate business.
An attendee at Maine Maritime Academy and a graduate of Admiral Farragut Academy, DeSeta maintained his involvement on the Board of Directors at Farragut. Active in community affairs, DeSeta has contributed his time and financial assistance to other organizations as the United Way, St. Anthony’s Church, Padua Academy, St. Edmonds Academy, Pilot School and the March of Dimes to mention a few. DeSeta formerly was Farragut Alumni President, founding member of the Farragut Foundation, former board member of Farragut New Jersey, former Board Director of American Heart Association, former Board Advisor to the Lifesaving and Shipwreck Museum of Nantucket, former member of I.C.S.C, BOMA and N.B.A.A. DeSeta is a member of A.O.P.A and a long time trustee of The Medical Center of Delaware Christiana Care since 1986. Former volunteer at Longwood Gardens Kennett Square PA. DeSeta formerly had homes in Kennett Square PA, Palm Beach FL, Nantucket MA and now resides in Mt. Pleasant SC. Ed is married to his wife, Wanda, of 48 years. They have three sons, E.J., Patrick, and Alex. |
